Donny Do Doo has just come home from hospital after having a minor operation on his ear. Well minor to the vet but Donny would argue differently
That was three days ago on the 23rd May. Still very upset at having what feels like the biggest earring ever stuck in his ear, and not very happy with the vet who is not his friend at the best of times is now definitely off the Xmas list after giving him a shot in the rump this morning.

Donny is quite a friendly dog until it is time to visit the vet, then he puts on his black hat. So even the simplest of tasks require major solutions. Usually knocking him out.


6th June. Donny has had the stitches out now and is a lot better. However we had to give him some knockout pills prior to his visit to the vet. Upon arrival he seemed very bright eyed, not a good sign. However the vet had a patient in the surgery so a short wait was required.

Excellent that was all the extra time needed. The tongue started to slip through the missing front teeth. It was all over Red Rover. Donny started to enter the terrier equivalent of The Land Of Nod.

Whisked away into the surgery went one rather Dopey Donny Doo Do. And I thought a wait was in hand, but to my surprise he was out within five minutes all be it in a very dopey condition as can be seen by the above pictures.

He is at present sleeping it off in the sun in the front bedroom, probably wondering how that vet got that muzzle on me so easily
